Ben and Arron founded BCAE in 2022, bringing together complementary expertise forged at high-end practices across Lancashire and Manchester - including years spent on greenbelt and sensitive site projects, bespoke residential work, and large-scale commercial schemes.
Today, BCAE operates from studios in Euxton and Altrincham, working across the North West and nationally. Our team has delivered over 100 projects - from bespoke countryside homes and complex planning-sensitive sites to small residential schemes and a 74-bed care home. For clients who want to go further, our in-house interior design team takes the project through to every last detail: materials, finishes, furniture, and light.

Every person deserves a home that supports their independence, daily routines and long-term wellbeing. At BCAE Architects, we specialise in designing homes that remove barriers and support people living with disabilities or complex needs.
Whether adapting an existing property or designing a new home, our aim is the same: to create environments that enable independence, dignity and comfortable everyday living.
We also work with case managers, occupational therapists, legal deputies and solicitors to assess accommodation needs following serious injury or disability. Our services include feasibility studies, architectural design for complex adaptations and specialist accommodation advice to support long-term housing decisions.

How we work - and why it matters.
Most building projects feel more complicated than they should. Architecture, interiors, engineering, and contractors arrive at different stages, briefed separately, and asked to align afterwards. The result is coordination gaps, late surprises, and decisions made under pressure.
We work differently. From the first brief, your architecture and interiors are developed together - by the same studio, with the same eye. Your structural engineer, services consultant, and main contractor are introduced early, not late. We stress-test the design, the budget, and the programme before anything is committed to.
We also use detailed 3D modelling and VR walkthroughs, so you can move through your home before it's built - and make decisions from confidence, not guesswork.
The result: a smoother process, fewer late-stage changes, and a finished home that looks and feels exactly as you imagined it.
