Rooted in place
Every site has its own story – and we believe every new home should respond to it. Sometimes the brief is to enhance an established street, sometimes to settle a home quietly into open countryside. Our project The Cow Shed, for example, was set within a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The challenge was to transform a disused agricultural structure into a home while respecting its fragile environment. By retaining its honest rural character and introducing sensitive glazing, we created a house that feels both authentic and at ease in its setting.
