Project Overview

We had the pleasure of working with Nicola and Scott on the creation of their dream ‘forever home’ at Newgate Lane, set within the grounds of Nicola’s childhood home. This bespoke 4-bedroom house has been designed to reflect their love for traditional architecture while blending seamlessly with the rural surroundings of Whitestake.

Their strong personal connection to the land inspired a design that honours the local heritage and complements the open countryside, all while incorporating eco-friendly features to minimise the home’s ecological footprint. With sustainable materials, superior insulation, and a layout that respects the natural landscape, this home is a perfect fusion of tradition and modern sustainability.

We designed the home to be a natural extension of its surroundings, with materials that reflect the rural character of the area, including locally sourced brick and timber. The property’s layout embraces the natural topography, maximising sunlight and views of the countryside while ensuring privacy for the family. Thoughtful landscaping ensures the home sits harmoniously within the greenbelt, with carefully preserved trees and open spaces enhancing its connection to nature.

Kind words

“Seeing what you’ve done so far, we are both really pleased we have gone with yourselves.”
