The existing bungalow had previously been extended several times, however the spaces were poorly connected and were not configured for modern living and had poor connections to the garden.

Ben Craven Architects were approached to reconfigure the ground floor accommodation and create a living space that had good access to the gardens. The proposals consisted of a open plan family / kitchen / dining room with bifold doors. The large sliding doors allow for the room to ‘spill’ out into the garden, encouraging a internal and external living to merge.
