The Project

We received planning approval following a householder planning application on a complete redesign of an existing 2 bedroom bungalow. The proposals create a 4 bedroom, 2 storey family home with open plan kitchen living space to the rear and attached garage with utility room.

The original bungalow which had not been renovated for a long period of time, only consisted of 4 rooms and was not equipped for modern family living.

The brief for this project was to completely redesign the way this home would be used, completely modernising it. Introducing a first floor for 3 bedrooms and family bathroom, the bedroom to the rear is a master bedroom with en-suite.

The ground floor now consists of a large open plan family room to the rear (kitchen, living, dining) and two reception rooms to the front, there is also a utility room with access to the integral garage.

The front porch with protected waiting space will be achieved through permitted development.
